Meet Diego.
Native speaker. Passionate teacher. 10+ years helping people fall in love with Spanish.
Why I teach Spanish
I grew up speaking Spanish as my first language, surrounded by a culture where conversation, storytelling, and connection are everything. When I started teaching, I realized that most language courses were teaching students Spanish like it was a math problem — rules, memorization, drills.
That approach doesn't work. Real language lives in real conversations. So I built a method around that simple truth: get students speaking from day one, make mistakes normal, and build confidence faster than any textbook can.
Today I teach students from 30+ countries. Some are complete beginners. Some have tried everything and given up. All of them leave my classes speaking — actually speaking — in a way they never thought possible.
My teaching philosophy
Four principles that guide every single class I teach.
Speak from day one
No silent period. No "learn the rules first." You speak in the very first class — that's the point.
Mistakes are the method
Every mistake is feedback. My job is to make you comfortable enough to make them freely.
Real Spanish, not textbook Spanish
I teach the Spanish people actually speak — slang, rhythm, regional expressions, all of it.
Progress you can feel
Every student leaves each class feeling like they improved. Measurable, visible, real progress.
